Orders with multiple items will be shipped once all items are available if you are ordering for a special occasion, please let us know and we will do our up-most to get it to you on time.
The Stable Door wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are unhappy with the fit, or you feel the product is not what you expected, you may exchange, replace or have your purchase refunded when it is returned in saleable condition with tags still attached. This must be done within 14 days of delivery.
Postage costs for returned items are the responsibility of the sender, not The Stable Door, there is no refund on postage. After the item is received in original condition we will contact you to finalise the exchange or return process.
Exchanges
We are happy to exchange the product for any change of mind. This must be commenced within 14 days of delivery. If an exchange is not possible we will issue a credit or refund the cost of the item.
Please note: Footwear must be tried on a carpeted area before wearing. Footwear that shows signs of wear will not be accepted for return - this includes scuff marks on the soles. Boxes must be protected as they are considered a part of the product.
Free postage from The Stable Door to the customer; of returned items for exchange; is only applicable to individual items valued over $150.00 and being sent within the free postage states; for the first exchange only. This means items under the value of $150 or being shipped to WA or NT are exempt from free exchanges.
Customers must make contact with our customer service team via email prior to the return of their product.
If you proceed without prior approval you will not be eligible for postage reimbursement by Australia Post or The Stable Door.
Fair Use: Free returns only applies under the agreement of Fair Usage. This applies to, but is not limited, multiple sizes of a product being returned, or without the intent to exchange.
Faulty Products
Faulty products are those that have a manufacturing fault. Please contact The Stable Door for initial assessment and replacement by the manufacturer. Please supply 2 photos; first up close of fault 2nd of whole item with tags in view where possible, in your initial email with the email subject Order Number and fault. This makes the follow up process much more efficient.
We understand the inconvenience of having a faulty item and will do everything we can to expedite this process. Please be aware the item will not be replaced until the faulty item is assessed and then returned or destroyed. If the faulty item cannot be replaced or repaired we will endeavour to provide a similar product or a credit or refund will be processed.
Incorrect Product Received
If you have received a product that is not what you ordered - i.e. incorrect size, style or colour etc. please contact our Customer Service Team to rectify. Please supply a photo of the product with tags in your initial email for verification - this makes the follow up process much more efficient.
We understand the inconvenience of receiving incorrect products and will do everything we can to expedite this process. Once receipt of incorrect product has been verified we will issue you with a free return label and promptly send the correct product.
Clearance/Sale Products
These products are non returnable excepting Faulty or Incorrect Products. No refunds will be given for change of mind.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalised items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products and underwear).
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on clearance items or gift cards.
Important Notes
- All returns/exchanges should be initiated within 14 days of delivery

- Please fill out and return the Returns Form below to initiate your exchange or return
- Items must be returned unworn and in perfect condition with all labels and garment tags attached and be packaged correctly to keep the out packaging in sellable condition (i.e. boot boxes must not be taped shut and used as packaging)
- Returns that are damaged, soiled or returned without tags or labels will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer. This includes out packaing such as boot boxes.
- Packaging: all items must be returned with original packaging and protected to prevent damage
- Footwear should be returned unmarked and in original condition with labels and tags and stuffing, including protective packaging / boxes
- Boots that are returned without packaging to protect the boot box will not be accepted for return and will be returned to the customer
- All items are quality checked before your order is dispatched. If you receive an item that is damaged or you have any concerns please contact our customer service team
- When making a return or exchange please enclose a return form or your packing slip with order number and customer details for identification, with products - issued by Customer Service Team
- For exchanged products over $150.00; the first exchange will be shipped free
- The Stable Door cannot take responsibility for items lost or damaged in the return transit
